Day 25

Today's readings showcase God's mighty acts of deliverance and revelation. In Exodus, we witness the dramatic escape from Egypt and the parting of the Red Sea. Psalm 114 poetically celebrates this deliverance, while Ephesians 3 reveals the mystery of God's plan to include all peoples in His family through Christ.

The key insight we can draw from these passages is this: God's power to deliver His people is matched by His plan to unite all believers in Christ.

Let's break this down into a simple principle we can apply:

Here are five practical steps we can take to apply today's readings:

1. Remember God's faithfulness: Like the Israelites marking their deliverance, recall specific times God has guided you through difficult situations.
2. Celebrate His power: Join creation in praising God's might, as Psalm 114 describes mountains skipping and rocks turning to water.
3. Embrace inclusion: Following Paul's revelation, consider how you can help break down barriers between different groups in your community.
4. Pray boldly: Paul prayed for spiritual strengthening; pray with similar confidence for yourself and others.
5. Share the mystery: Like Paul, look for opportunities to share how God's love in Christ extends to all people.

As you go about your day, reflect on this question: How can you more fully appreciate God's delivering power and participate in His plan to unite all believers?
